Meet Linda
Hi! I’m Linda. I am the author of four books and a blog, A Book Unwritten. I was married to my wonderful husband and best friend Howard for almost forty years. We unexpectedly lost him on December 31, 2020. We were enjoying our large family and had many plans for the future. We have six children, two are deceased, twenty-five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. God has truly blessed us.
I’ve always wanted my parents’ love story to be told. Not knowing exactly how to make that happen, I sat down one day and began to write. Four years later I saw my first book, Her Final Gift, in print. I had discovered a new love! Now I have three more books: A Patch of Cotton, Pieces of My Heart, and Here for the Winter. I have always loved reading, but I had no idea how much I would love creating characters who come to life on the pages of a book.
I would be remiss if I didn’t share my faith with you. At the age of eleven, I gave my life to Jesus at First Baptist Church in Lake City, Arkansas at a revival on a summer night. God has since carried me through some rough times, even when I went astray and created messes in my life. His love and grace are unlimited in measure and He will never leave or forsake us…and He will ALWAYS forgive.
Deuteronomy 31:8 It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will never leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
